Theodore's Nursery

So it turns out that nothing kills a blog faster than getting pregnant and having a baby! I have been so behind on updating but I'm definitely going to work harder at keeping this up.

We welcomed our second child, Theodore Henry Fitzgerald Voss, on February 4, 2016. He is the sweetest little thing and Charlotte is so delighted to be a big sister!

We chose not to find out the sex until birth so decorating the nursery beforehand was tough. We picked a lighter shade of blue for the walls because we felt that it was gender neutral. I kept thinking that a sweet blue and coral nursery would be so unique and perfect for a little baby girl. We ended up with a classic blue nursery for a handsome baby boy. Not very original, but we still love it!

We started working on this nursery the first weekend of January (procrastination at it's finest) and somehow managed to complete the entire thing in under three weeks. The first two weeks of work included painting the walls, ceiling, trim and furniture and the third week included hanging art, organizing clothes and adding fun baby toys. Now if only we could be that motivated when it comes to the rest of our house, we might actually accomplish something...

And here's one final photo of my two little loves!

Our hearts are so full!
